A DGCA Class 1 Medical can only be conducted and issued by approved medical authorities.
Please read the circular regarding the procedure to apply for a Class I Medical Assessment along with the list of approved Medical examiners, attached below.
Things to keep in mind
- A request for scheduling an appointment has to be sent to the medical authority through means as mentioned in the circular.
- Such a request can be made as early as 90 days and up to 15 days before the intended date of medical examination.
- The form which is required to be filled up and sent for the purpose of seeking an appointment is on Pg 6 : Annexure A of the attached circular.


CLASS I RENEWAL
The procedure of undergoing the renewal of a medical examination with an approved medical authority is as per the medical standards notified by the Medical Directorate of DGCA.
Renewal is done based on the last medical assessment validity.
